To consider the following Motion of which notice has been given in accordance with Standing Orders:

‘That in accordance with the provisions of Section 249 of the Local Government Act 1972, this Council confers the title of Freeman of the Borough on Mrs Joan Lloyd who has rendered 48 years eminent and continuous service as a Councillor, holding a number of roles including Mayor and Mayoress, Deputy Leader, Chairman of the Planning and Development Committee, Portfolio Holder with responsibility for Resources and for her commitment to the Town and in particular the residents of Bandley Hill AND Poplars Ward.’
