2. MINUTES - 18 NOVEMBER 2015
To approve as a correct record the Minutes of the meeting of the Community Select Committee held on 18 November 2015.

3. WITNESS INTERVIEWS FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY BUDGET REVIEW
The Committee will interview the Leader, Chief Executive and Alderman David Kissane as part of the review into Local Community Budgets.

4. MEMBER EVIDENCE GATHERING
Members that have gathered specific evidence regarding their lead roles on the review may wish to share this with the Committee:
Cllrs Elaine Connolly & Liz Harrington - purpose and focus of LCBs
Cllrs Loraine Bell and Sarah Mead - analysis of LCB allocations by projects
Cllrs Pam Stuart and Chris Saunders - perceived Value for Money and use of resources
Cllr Sarah Mead - LCB spend alignment with corporate, local and town wide needs
Cllr John Mead - Equalities & Diversity Issues.  How do protected characteristic groups access and receive funding compared with the wider community?
Cllr John Mead - examples of similar Local Member Budgets from other authorities.  Example scheme attached.
Cllr Margaret Notley - examples of a good use of LCB funds to celebrate successes.

5. NEXT STEPS
Members are requested to note the next steps in the review process:

7. EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC
To consider the following Motion -
That under Section 100(A) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as described in paragraphs 1-7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.
